The Surgical Eye Center is a fully licensed and accredited outpatient surgery center dedicated exclusively to eye surgery. The surgery center is used exclusively for cataract, corneal, glaucoma and oculoplastic surgeries. We are proud to offer quality care, specialized equipment and advanced technology in a safe environment.
The Surgical Eye Center is fully licensed by the state of North Carolina. The center is Medicare certified and has been awarded the Certificate of Accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). Our Certificate of Accreditation is a symbol of our commitment to provide safe, high-quality eye care and that the center has obtained the standards approved by AAAHC. Accreditation is only awarded to organizations that achieve and maintain these standards.
Our surgeons are members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and are board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. They have performed thousands of surgical procedures. Our surgeons are trained in the latest surgical techniques, including complex surgical procedures.
